Samus Returns, and in a Big Way

For one of my favorite franchises of all time, I never had the fortune to play the original Metroid II: Return of Samus. Now, with this remake, I was afforded the opportunity to finally play through it, and it stunning new graphics. 

And, I have to say, it did not disappoint.

I can’t belive the months are flying by! I told myself I wouldn’t be playing some games, but I ended up playing the Nintendo Switch Release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and South Park Fractured but Whole on PS4 this month.

–But enough of this month! Let’s look towards November 2017! We’ve got a couple good things coming our way once again!

Monster Hunter Stories…Stories!

MHST Logo.jpgSorry for the lame headliner, but that’s kinda what we do. We’re corny, fun and a little eccentric. Plus, we like sharing our stories! So, stick around!

Now, I opened up like that because Monster Hunter Stories presents just as quirky. Behind the serious calamity looming over and bonds built and broken all over, it is a fun and funny game that does not hesitate to pull the puns out all over the place. But that’s not all it is. Just like The Witcher 3 can be the new golden standard of open world fantasy RPGs, Monster Hunter Stories should be the golden standard for  JPRG spin-offs.

CAPCOM Switch Support and MHXX Switch Demo Out on JP eShops this week!

CAPCOM recently announced that Street Fighter II The Final Challengers got enough sales to merit the developer’s continued support of Nintendo Switch!

That’s definitely good news for us! To top it all off, Japan’s Nintendo Switch eShop will be hosting a demo for Monster Hunter XX on August 10th! If you need help getting your region-free Switch to get that downloaded onto your device, read on!

Nintendo Ends E3’s Conferences with a Lineup of Promising Switch Titles

Nintendo Starts their E3 Direct Episode today with strong announcements much needed for the Nintendo Switch. We now know that Kirby, Yoshi and Samus are making their way to the Switch, and that Pokemon on the Switch is coming (but still far away). We are also treated to some Zelda goodness and some release dates.
